About ASCB

ASCB was formed in 1995 in the United Kingdom to accredit a range of international non-governmental conformity assessment bodies that assess products, personnel and management systems of laboratories, inspection bodies and educational establishments.

During the last 25 years, ASCB has accredited over 230 members in 70 countries (125 are active); registered over 900 assessors, auditors and quality related personnel achievements; and certified over 30,000 organisations with an estimated combined annual turnover of £190 billion and hiring over 1 million employees.

ASCB have global offices in United States, Europe, United Arab Emirates and India to ensure a local market oversight and a regional point of contact for their accredited organisations and the public.

ASCB are proudly independent and free of political interference. ASCB’s market strength lies in not being a government appointed accreditation body.
